The trio is composed of Charles Kelley (lead and background vocals), Dave Haywood (background vocals, guitar, piano, mandolin) and Hillary Scott (lead and background vocals). The group won five awards at the 53rd Grammy Awards, including the coveted Song of the Year and Record of the Year for "Need You Now".
